What weight Airsoft bb should i use?

I have a UTG L96 awp, i started out with .20, it was not good, moved up to .25, got better but still not that great, moved up to .28 and im getting kills at 150 or so feet...so should i move up more weight? if so what weight cause i know they go up to .43... Thanks!!
